Thursday Thought

"It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy...." - Charles H. Spurgeon

After a fairly challenging day yesterday at my day job, this resonated with me. Days begin, days end -- as goes every other aspect of our lives. The recent posts to the first two blogs of the year resonated. When something ends, something begins.

What a wonderful beginning of a nursing career, or end to school. Lisa, CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done. Achieving a 4.0. Magnificent!!!!!! And, I so appreciate you stepping up and sharing this accomplishment.

A child is born another person passes. Sweet and Sour is on our tongues, in our minds and in our thoughts. Sour is pain.

Something I have not done lately, which is going to happen tonight. I am so grateful this minute, this day, in this new year for many things, and a list is mandatory today. I just tucked a notebook in my purse. Begin to consider the joy, sweet memories and appreciation for what is, and what is not.

Sweet is the process of "Squeezing joy from each minute, time does not return, yet memories do."

Hi there Susan---Michelle---from NV--love your recent post and you know something I use to journal everyday and would right down everything that I am grateful for yet it has been awhile for me also as time gets away from me. Yet it is important to do that as for me it just validates everything that I am have in my life and how much I appreciate each day.

Need some words of wisdom from you as you provide such a warm way about your wording.

I have someone who is my best friend and over time I have fallen in love with this person. What can you provide on going about sharing this with the individual as I don't want to feel rejected if this person does not feel the same way. Do you agree at times you won't know how a person feels unless you ask.

So I'm not quite sure how to proceed and words that you can share would be appreciated.

Also love the picture that your photographer has provided and like last the comment you sure can see there is a heart in the middle and that for me is so inspiring that God is that heart beat with you everyday.

Look forward to your next post and picture.

Hi Susan---Beth from Rochester, NY. I love this quote "It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy...." - Charles H. Spurgeon.

This is so true as life is too short and take the time to enjoy the now. Sometimes we can take for granted the things we are enjoying.

Love you post.

Hi Susan--Lisa or Alabama--I love this comment and thank you so much for this reminder as I have not taken time. I have been putting work first and I need to change that I was reading the bible every night and I have slipped from doing so

Begin to consider the joy, sweet memories and appreciation for what is, and what is not.

Hey Girl Roy here nice to see you on a roll again you brighten everybody's day and I love your quote
Sweet is the process of "Squeezing joy from each minute, time does not return, yet memories do." that is so true.

Our family talks about memories often it's nice to laugh about previous experiences and relive them and laugh all over again.

You are truly an angel from God. I have been reading the comments and it is so lovely to see how your words have been powerful and warm and gentle.

Keep up the remarkable work you do.

Also Happy New Year to you
