FIRST ROBIN THIS SPRING

Simply said, I saw my first Robin this spring. I immediately began to breath more freely and easy with the thought that spring is approaching, perhaps slowly, yet it is approaching.

Such is just about everything in life, yet there are exceptions. Yesterday a very dear, close friend learned her job was being eliminated. In fact the company is closing the whole site in our city. Then as we discussed last night, it is something like seeing the Robin. It was thought about, yet not visible until the announcement yesterday and it will take a few months to officially close.

Sighting a Robin in spring generates refreshing, light, sunny feelings, feelings of bright possibilities.

Job eliminations tend to prompt feelings of fear, caution, uncertainty and lack.

Both create feelings and, guess what -- there is NO RIGHT or WRONG. Your feelings are you OWN - you own them. Don't let ANYONE tell you your feelings are wrong. They may be wrong for the other person, yet they are yours. The person with the same experience is having their own feelings prompting their own emotions.

Suggestion: Check in with your feelings more often. Perhaps even a bit more than with your mind. People can help, yet, remember, these belong to you. Your feelings will tell you what is really happening. Dig in to find the true feeling. If you think it is anger, well, anger is an emotion -- discover the feeling behind the anger. Are you sad? Sadness is an emotion -- dig in to discover the feeling. Are you happy? Great, what is the feeling.

Squeeze the joy - the minutes pass - there is seldom an opportunity to do over.
